I have sympathy with the Sion supporters, but the rules for Swiss teams are the same for all European teams. Just because FIFA and UEFA both reside in Switzerland, doesn't mean they fall under Swiss Law. If they did, that would mean all football would be run by the Swiss courts and I'm sure UEFA and ...

Chelsea had a similar transfer embargo a couple of years ago.
They never bought any players, so why did Sion, after they were similarly found guilty of enticing players to the club, who were syill under contract ?
